The Maldives is one of a must to see the place in the World, Especially if you love Sun, Sea, Sand & Scuba. There are many interesting places to see in Maldives. As soon as you land there you would be astonished by shades of watercolour, It is surrounded by shades of Blue, light blue, copper sulfate, dark blue, greenish blue & Deep Blue, The depth of the water in the ocean determines the colour of blue it will reflect. The Shades of water itself is an Attraction to see in Maldives. Although there are many Man-made places to visit in Maldives, my favourite is the Ocean around the Island and the varieties of Marine life it holds within it. One could witness God’s Own Aquarium in the water. The Maldives would fascinate you with a variety of Marine Life. The deep-sea around the island has in it colourful coral reefs, Dolphins, Sharks, Stingray, Manthray and many more wild and colourful Fishes.
As a traveller I loved my journey in the Maldives, I had well prepared for what I want do, Places to see in Maldives. The mindset about Maldives is that is, it’s an expensive destination. However, I was sure we can still find suitable and more affordable hotels. My main objective of going to the Maldives is to explore the Sea and Scuba, Thus began my exploration into the Island country. The flight landed on the Airport Island, We walked out of Airport, We walked to a ferry service, which took us to Male. I had booked my stay in Lagoon View Hotel in Bodufolhudhoo Island in Maldives.

There are many stories behind the Name of the Island, the popular one according to the locale is that the name derived from Tamil language Mala-dives, the formation of the Island is like a “mala” which means Garland and the word dive is Island in Tamil, so the term combined has been called as Mala-dives or now as Maldives. One can spot the different culture and tradition evolved in Maldives. Maldives is group of more than 1100 Islands, it’s beautifully grouped in two Chains or Mala. The Island’s has been divided into 26 Atolls. The Atolls are composed of Coral reef and Sand Bank. Interesting fact Maldives is the lowest country in the world. The native language is Dhivehi.
