10 things to do in Singapore – Places to see in Singapore
Singapore is a vibrant city, there are quite a lot of interesting places to see in Singapore. The train is the best way to travel around Singapore to see places in Singapore. I took an early morning flight from Chennai airport to Changi Airport, it was a direct flight by Singapore Airlines.
Let me begin narrating my travel log in Singapore, the best place to start is the Changi Airport.
Changi Airport:
It is one of my favourite Airport, whether you are transiting, or your entering or exiting Singapore no matter what, you will enjoy your time at this airport. We got down at the airport collected our baggage & refreshed. I was hungry & the only problem I had was I had too many options to choose from. Finally, I grabbed a coffee and roll. We had planned to explore the country city by train & foot. The Train station is located both accessible both in Terminal 2 & 3. We walked to terminal 2 and boarded the train to explore the colourful city.

We got a train pass, that gave us accesses to both metro trains & busses. The trains station are very conveniently located and easy to move from place to place
1. Merlion
Mesmerising Merlion is the identity of Singapore, it’s a fantasy mythical creature, with a Lion head & Fish body. There have been many stories associated with the Merlion. The lion head has a role in Singapore name – Singapura means Lion city. It is located at the Mouth of the Singapore river. It is must to visit Merlion park both in day & Night. However my favourite is at the night time, with city skyline view, it was a spectacular visit.
2.Garden by Bay
The whole of Singapore is a garden city, one could feel that they are strolling in parks, The special effect is the Garden by the bay is the best place to see in Singapore. The garden is spread across 110 hectares of reclaimed land. The Garden provides a mesmerising waterfront view, is made up of two main areas: Bay South Garden and Bay East Garden. Garden Rhapsody is a show a music & light show, that lits the supertree. Its a daily show in the evening which is worth the watch. According to me this should be must do top 10 things in Singapore
3.Sentosa Island
This Island resort is a fantasy land, it has all the flavour to entertain the Kid in everyone. It has magic within, The fantastic Aquarium, water park, skywalk, Madam Tussaud, adventure parks or the Trick eye museum everything is an experience by itself. One day is not sufficient to cover all the attraction. One has to plan the trip well in advance
4. Universal Studio
Ultimate fun on great options for rides, shows & flimy attraction, live the cinema reel life in the real world. The experience of Jurrasic Park, Transformer and more to see. They have 7 zones to cover, Hollywood, New-york, Sci-fi city, Ancient Eygpt, Lost World, Far Far Away & Madagascar.
